google's free picasa photo software now has a web album generator that will upload member photos directly to picasaweb.google.com. i have just uploaded a small album of photos taken at the bethel historic cemetery in kingston, tn to a new Tn Type site there. you can always check all of my public TnType picasaweb albums by using the link http://picasaweb.google.com/TnType. any of the photos posted in my public gallery may be downloaded for personal, noncommercial use in your genealogy research. find my bethel cemetery album | here | .

Mattie Lee Ellis owned a Restaurant in Kingston, Tn for many years. I do not think she ever worked in a grocery store. I am her grandaughter, and I am wondering where you got the information? I have met people in various parts of the country, who ate at the restaurant. It was on the site of the Roane County High School.
Hi. Seems we share a John ELLIS and Mary QUINN ancestry. It took me a while to track down where I had said Mattie worked in a grocery store. I finally found that I written it as a caption in the Bethel Cemetery photo album I posted in my picasa web albums. The information you ask about came from census data which gives her occupation as "Retail Merchant" and the "industry" in which she works as "Grocery Store." Her family was living on Cumberland Street in Kingston at the time. (Source: 1930 US Federal Census, Roane County, TN.)
